Within the framework of the international cooperation strategies, the General Command of the Military Forces received the visit of ten commissioners of the Dominican Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, Jamaica, the Republic of Ecuador, the Kingdom of Spain, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the United States of America and England.
The delegation was received by Admiral Harry Ernesto Reyna Niño, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Military Forces, who welcomed the international representatives and highlighted the importance of these spaces to strengthen trust relations, interoperability and cooperation among the Military Forces of the participating countries.
During the meeting, the commissioners learned first-hand about the resources, experiences and work dynamics carried out by the Colombian Military Forces in the fulfillment of their constitutional mission. They in the same way shared experiences and good practices obtained in their respective institutions, enriching the exchange of knowledge and strengthening the cooperation links among the participating nations.
The international representatives expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and accompaniment provided by the Colombian Military Forces during this experience, highlighting the value of such initiatives to strengthen cooperation ties, promote mutual learning and consolidate strategic alliances for the benefit of security and defense.
