Good physical condition of Soldier was protected thanks to timely air operation

The resources of the Colombian Aerospace Force were brought to a mountainous area of northern Antioquia in order to protect the good physical condition of a Soldier of Colombian National Army, who was seriously injured by the activation of an anti-personnel mine. Faced with the situation, the National Personnel Recovery Center, CENRP, in coordination with the Air Combat Commands No. 5 and No. 7, sent to the municipality of Briceño an aeromedical evacuation operation to save the life of this young 22-year-old soldier, belonging to the Ground Artillery Battalion No. 4. After receiving the person in the Village Center Orejón, the crews of the UH-60 Angel helicopter, went to the Infantry Battalion No. 32 General Pedro Justo Berrio, in Medellín, so that Colombian National Army medical staff continue with the procedures and provide the soldier with immediate and specialized assistance.
