The Colombian Aerospace Force deployed air and logistical resources to carry out an important Medical and Humanitarian Assistance Activity in Puerto Leguizamo, Putumayo department, in recognition and gratitude to the solidarity shown by the inhabitants after the accident of the C-130 Hercules FAC1016 aircraft.
On Monday, March 23, the inhabitants of this region provided immediate and selfless support to the wounded soldiers, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity that characterizes the communities of the south of the country. As a sign of gratitude, the Institution came to this territory again to repay this valuable gesture through an activity focused on the well-being of its inhabitants.
During the activity, general medical services, specialized care, distribution of medicines and humanitarian aid are provided, benefiting hundreds of families in the area. All this is possible with the support of foundations, volunteer doctors and productive groups from different parts of the country, who accompanied the Aerospace Force to join efforts to bring all kinds of donations and services.
This union of efforts reflects the commitment of an entire country to building well-being and hope, as well as continuing to strengthen those bonds of trust and support for the Colombian Military Forces at all times and places.
