The coordinated work conducted by the Naval institution and the government agencies led to the benefit of about 480 people.
In compliance with the institutional commitment to support communities with comprehensive wellbeing operations, the Colombian Navy led a Development Support Activity in the municipality of San Estanislao de Kostka, Department of Bolivar.
This activity was carried out as a result of the coordinated work of the Navy Battalion no.12 with the Government of Bolivar, the Municipal Mayor, the professional officers of the Naval Reserve and the Fundación Unidos, benefiting 480 people of the Barranquillita neighborhood, urban area of this municipality, with services of General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, dentistry, gynecology, psychology and urology.
In the same way, counseling was provided in nutrition, growth and development, 150 units of Bienestarina (food supplement) were distributed to support the nutrition of children under 10 years and 100 biosecurity kits were distributed to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in this community.
