The Hercules Joint Stabilization and Consolidation Task Force in order to support the communities of the Pacific region of the department of Nariño, carried out the transfer of a four-month-old baby, who had a gastrointestinal disease with high temperature, which put the life of this minor at risk, who was in the municipality of Olaya Herrera, Nariño.

According to a report of the Olaya Herrera Hospital, this minor should be taken to a specialized center to urgently be provided with support for his case, as he required some examinations and prioritized assistance. Thanks to the timely coordination and reaction of the soldiers of the Pegaso operational command, an aircraft was put into service to the National Army aviation for the transfer of the minor in record time.

During the flight the baby was assisted and stabilized by a nurse of the Olaya Herrera Hospital, who was in charge of constantly monitoring him. As they arrived at the Navy Infantry Brigade No.4, where the team of medical professionals of the Tumaco basic Military care unit was waiting for him.

Once the first aid was provided, the minor was immediately taken by ambulance to the San Andrés de Tumaco Hospital in order to receive specialized medical assistance.
