This activity was led by the Joint Task Force Omega through the Specific Command of the East and the Ground Operations Battalion No. 5 in coordination with the Jerusalem Foundation and the Governor of Guaviare.
Guaviare. In order to provide health, well-being, recreation and progress services to the community of the rural area of San José del Guaviare, the Joint Task Force Omega conducted the first Development Support Day in the school of El Capricho benefiting the inhabitants of 32 villages near this area.
After months of coordination of the men and women of the Task Force under the 'Horus Plan', it was possible to join forces to carry out this act of service to the community, oriented towards the well-being, especially of the most vulnerable people of rural San José del Guaviare
During this day, troops worked with the professionals of the Jerusalem Foundation, who were transported by our air warriors, to reach the place and provide care in general medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, psychology, physiotherapy, veterinary medicine and promotion and prevention of babies care to more than 1,200 people.
The Governor of Guaviare, who in the same way participated in the Day, thanked the Joint Task Force Omega for carrying Development Support Days in these areas and join efforts to reach this village, always maintaining the safety and wellbeing of the community.
