In the municipalities of Puerto Salgar, department of Cundinamarca and La Dorada, department of Caldas, the Colombian Aerospace Force through the Air Combat Command No.1, conducts aerial loudspeaker missions, with the objective of security and citizen coexistence. These operations seek to bring the institutional message closer to the communities, promoting the timely reporting of events that hit regional tranquility.
On board the HUEY-II aircraft, the crews transmit preventive campaigns against illegal mining, forced recruitment of minors and other illegal activities that put the inhabitants at risk; with clear and direct messages, citizens are invited not to keep silent and to report any suspicious situation.
The air missions are carried out day and night for a wide and constant coverage in urban and rural areas, a military operations capacity that manages to reinforce the activity of the State and bring key information even to sectors of difficult access.
