Heeding the call of the National Personnel Recovery Center, CNRP, the helicopter crew of the Air Combat Command.6, CACOM-6, reacted immediately in order to conduct the aeromedical transfer of a minor, who due to her pregnancy status urgently needed higher-level medical assistance.

The minor and her mother belonging to the Páez de Solano indigenous people, Caquetá, arrived at the CACOM-6 in the early morning hours via an ambulance boat, which traveled with great difficulty along the Orteguaza River until reaching the CACOM-6 and thus making the transfer; the patient and her mother expressed words of gratitude to the Air Force for the laudable operation of saving their lives.

With the accompaniment of military medical personnel, the HUEY II helicopter took off to Florencia, Caquetá, for the girl to receive specialized care given to her high-risk pregnancy, it was thus thanks to the coordination of CACOM-6 an ambulance of the María Auxiliadora Departmental Hospital transferred the young woman to the care center.
