In the frame of the emergency in Paya, Boyacá, due to the landslide that blocked the access roads to the municipality, the Colombian Air Force of the Air Combat Command No.2 sent the UH-60 Black Hawk to transport 3.5 tons of humanitarian aid for the inhabitants hit in this region of the department of Boyacá.

In the same way, at the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, the loading of these aids was carried out, which were arranged by the Boyacá Governorate, including food baskets, toilet kits, medicines, blankets, clothes, mattresses, among other items to benefit more than 40 families of the village of Morcote and the municipality of Paya.

The above was possible thanks to the coordination conducted by the National Center for Personnel Recovery CENRP, the Colombian Air Force, National Army, Boyacá Governorate. The Mayor's Office of Paya and the Special Administrative Unit for Disaster Risk Management UAEGRD of Boyacá, work together in order to ensure the safety and well-being of these people who have been hit by the rainy season that crosses this region of the country.
