In the evening hours, a Huey II helicopter of the Air Combat Command No. 6, of the Colombian Aerospace Force, conducted a humanitarian aeromedical transfer from Puerto Leguízamo to Puerto Asís, in the department of Putumayo, to provide support to a 15-month-old child with lung conditions and a severe allergic reaction.
During the flight, the baby, accompanied by his mother, was constantly monitored by the medical staff to increase his stability.
Thanks to the expertise of the crews, they arrived in Puerto Asís and the patient was handed over to the healthcare staff of the Putumayo Higher Complexity Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
