The National Army since the early hours of last Sunday, April 24, 2022, has been providing humanitarian support to the victims of the rainy emergency, which mainly affected two neighborhoods of the municipality of Valle del Guamuez, Putumayo.
The soldiers of the National Army, in a quick reaction, immediately attended the call of the community, and in support of the civil authorities arrived to help the inhabitants.
Along with the Civil Defence, the Fire service, the National Police and the inhabitants of the region, launched the operation to remove the belongings of the houses and help in the evacuation process of about 25 families who lost everything.
