Illegal hiding places with war material and improvised explosive devices were found in the South of Bolivar

ejercol2.jpg

Troops of the Joint Task Force Marte, in the last few hours, found two illegal hiding places.

In the framework of military operations, troops of the Jungle Battalion N.° 48, operationally attached to the Joint Task Force Marte, in the last few hours found an illegal hiding place in the village Las Vegas, municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur, which contained 15 60 mm grenades of improvised manufacture, which were found by troops.

According to the investigations, this material presumably belonged to the Residual Organized Armed Group No. 37. Later, in the village of Los Robles, through tactical intelligence, troops also found another illegal hiding place where 11 antipersonnel mines were hidden, which were destroyed by the Explosives and Demolitions group of the military unit.

Apparently this material would belong to the Luis José Solano Sepúlveda Front, of the Organized Armed Group - ELN, which commits crimes in the area. The soldiers of the National Army will continue to carry out operations that weaken the structures outlaw in this region of the country, permanently countering their criminal operations against civilians and the troops.
