The Eastern and Northeastern war fronts were using commercial locations and metals such as gold for their criminal activities. In the operation, the expropriation of real estate was carried out, 29 thousand dollars were confiscated, as well as 65 kilos of gold and 2 vehicles.
Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus operations plan, National Army troops, with the support of the Attorney General's Office, struck down the illegal activities of the organized armed group, GAO, ELN with the expropriation carried out in the municipalities of Cúcuta, Sardinata and Villa del Rosario in the department of Norte de Santander.
Military intelligence work led to the location of real estate, finding cash and gold that would belong to the Eastern and Northeastern war fronts as their main sources for receiving illegal money.
In Cúcuta and Villa del Rosario, the expropriation of 7 real estate properties, the finding of 29 thousand dollars and 65 kilos of gold and 2 vehicles was carried out.
The military operations hit the finances of the GAO ELN by more than 28 billion pesos, which through illegal trade received the money for their terrorist operations against the inhabitants and the Military Forces.
Real estate, money and gold were put into custody of the authority.
