With the purpose of working to increase the security of islanders, raizales and tourists during the long weekend on occasion of the Three Magi, the Caribbean Air Group, belonging to the Colombian Aerospace Force, has intensified its patrol operations in the main tourist points of San Andr茅s. These operations seek to provide reassurance to visitors and strengthen confidence in the authorities.
The surveillance tasks include strategic tours carried out by rapid reaction teams, who closely monitor crowded areas. In addition, drones are used to carry out aerial inspections, which leads to expanding the monitoring range and detecting possible risks more effectively. This combined approach ensures an active and dynamic presence in key points of the island territory.
Framed within the national plan Travel Confident, these measures are not only designed to prevent incidents that may endanger the physical condition of people, but in the same way to protect the critical constructions of the archipelago. This deployment is part of a coordinated work that covers the 32 regions of the country, promoting safety on roads and public spaces.
The Colombian Aerospace Force reaffirms its commitment to work together with other local and national institutions for safe mobility. Through the use of aircraft, highly trained crews and air patrols both day and night, surveillance and control in the territory continues to be strengthened, contributing to the well-being of all citizens and visitors.
