More than 100 inhabitants of this former ETCR (Territorial Training and Reincorporation Space, in Spanish) participated in the recreational and sports activity, where the CCOET, Transition Strategic Joint Command, carries out social security coordination with State institutions.

In coordination with the Security forces, the Agency for Reincorporation and Standardization (ARN) and the UN, carried out in La Variante, the strategy 'Mambrú is not going to war', an early prevention initiative to prevent recruitment of children, adolescents and youth and their participation in illegal activities.

This recreational activity, aimed at the people in Process of Reincorporation in the former ETCR, in the Gualtal Tumaco Village, in the department of Nariño, especially children and adolescents, is aimed at mitigating the risk of forced recruitment of minors.

The purpose of this exercise is to strengthen family ties, the good use of free time, in order to prevent victimization of minors given by the illegal recruitment, as part of the permanent commitment to the implementation of the agreements of peace centered on prevention.

During the afternoon of November 26, more than 60 children along with their parents received the Bicentenary Heroes, who were part of various recreational and sports activities.

The activity was supported by members of the CCOET, the Hercules Stabilization and Consolidation Task Force, the Jungle Battalions No.53, ‘Francisco José Gonzales’; Rapid Deployment Force No.5; of Comprehensive Action and Development No.3; the National Police of Colombia and presidents of boards, responsible for the entire logistics.
