Puesto de Mando Unificado en Caquetá y Putumayo

Air Combat Command No. 6 of the Colombian Aerospace Force was at the Unified Command Post, in Florencia, department of Caquetá, and Mocoa, Putumayo in order to verify and monitor the security of Colombians in the midst of the democratic exercise.

In a joint and coordinated action conducted by the Military Forces and the National Police, in support of the Prosecutor's Office, the Comptroller's Office, the municipal and departmental administrations, as well as delegates of the National Government and international organizations, different strategies were conducted aimed at providing support in the law and order situation that crosses this region of the country, within the framework of the electoral activity of last March 8.

The different authorities highlighted that the suffrage activity was carried out without alterations for citizens and that they will continue to work permanently to safeguard the integrity and the right to vote of all citizens.

The Colombian Aerospace Force will continue to work in a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional manner in order to safeguard the inhabitants in the Colombian southeast.
