With the leadership of the Colombian Air Force and the participation of 15 countries of the continent, began the Hemispheric Humanitarian Aid Exercise Cooperación VII and Ángel de Los Andes III, which will give real training, combining the Resources of delegations in large-scale humanitarian operations, when required, in the countries of the continent.

At the Air Combat Command No.5, General Ramses Rueda Rueda, Commander of the Colombian Air Force, presided over the official opening ceremony, which featured the work of senior Officials from foreign delegations, as well as the Secretary General of the System of Cooperation of the United States Air Forces (SICOFAA), Colonel USAF Michael Douglas Ingersoll.

Under the motto: United to save lives, crews, rescuers and aircraft of the United States, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Honduras, Mexico, Dominican Republic, among other countries, begin the activities to standardize the various procedures, which will be the starting point for the planning of training missions, in maximum safety conditions.

Until September 10, 2021 and in different regions of the country, deployments will be made to simulate an earthquake and a tsunami, environments that will require a timely response and the integration of the Resources of the Air Forces of the continent, to provide unified support for these emergencies.
