Within the framework of the international cooperation agreement and after two years of the pandemic caused by COVID 19, a group of 18 Officers of the different Forces of Peru, Guatemala, Ecuador, Paraguay and Panama began the Course No.80 of Basic Helicopter Pilots in the Helicopter School for Military Forces (EHFAA), in the Air Combat Command No.4 of the Colombian Air Force, in Melgar, Tolima.

These young people began their training as pilots of military helicopters, within the course that consists of three phases: one phase of 284 academic hours, in which students learn the basic skills; the second of 20 turns of instruction in a flight simulator and, of course, end up with the most expected, the 77-flight missions in the aircraft TH-67 Creek.

Under all the principles of quality and safety, students will learn both in theory and in practice, how to deal with all the situations that may arise before, during and after the flight. Their training will led them to work in the different missions that they will fulfill as helicopter pilots working in the constant fight against transnational crimes in the region.
