The rudimentary construction had been conditioned on the water and among the vegetation, with the purpose of making it difficult for the authorities to access and find it.
In the course of operations carried out by troops of the Joint Task Force Omega, in a coordinated and inter-institutional manner with the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, a cocaine hydrochloride production laboratory was dismantled, with an abundant amount of the narcotics and solid and liquid precursors.
The finding took place in the village Ca帽o Blanco, in the rural area of San Jos茅 del Guaviare, in the department of Guaviare, where soldiers and navy men found several rudimentary constructions, put on the water and among the vegetation, with the purpose of making access difficult.
Approximately 730 kilograms of solid and in-process cocaine hydrochloride were found by troops inside this laboratory, in addition to abundant solid and liquid precursors. In the same way, elements for the production of the narcotic such as decantation device, power generator, microwave ovens, compressor, washing machine, dryer, among others were found. All the material was found, destroyed and deactivated under the established protocols.
It is important to point out that the spill of these precursors generates serious consequences for both water sources and the fauna and flora of the area, so the laboratory was directly harming the environment and natural resources.
With this result, a decisive blow is dealt to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Armando R铆os structure, which loses this structure valued at more than 4,000 million pesos (about USD 1,040,000). In the same way, more than a million personal doses of the narcotic are taken out of streets, preventing them from reaching young people in Colombia and the world.
