With professionalism, discipline and a high sense of responsibility, eight members of the Amazonas Air Group successfully completed the military lifeguard course, led by the Amazonas Coast Guard Group of the Colombian Navy. Aimed at strengthening competencies in Human Rights, primary assessment and psychological first aid.
During the course, Private Nelson Prada of the Amazonas Air Group stood out for his outstanding behavior, taking the first place. Similarly, the third place was obtained by Miss Second Lieutenant Natalia Medina Lozano, a member of the same Air Group, who demonstrated a high level of commitment, skill and knowledge in the activities.
The importance of immediately identifying and providing support in life-threatening conditions was in the same way emphasized, as well as the timely transfer of wounded to safe areas, decisive operations to preserve life and works to increase the continuity of medical assistance in the extreme south of the country.
This instruction strengthens the military operations resources of the Ladies and knights of the Air that make up the Colombian Aerospace Force, enhancing not only the technical knowledge of their personnel, but in the same way their human preparation, leading them to act with sensitivity, respect and adherence to the principles of Human Rights.
Thanks to this training, the men and women of the air force continue to prepare to provide support in social, humanitarian and missionary operations in the department of Amazonas.
