In support of the Recupera Tu Silla foundation and with the objective of working to raise the right to education in the south of the country, the Amazonas Air Group, in coordination with Colombian National Army, National Navy and National Police, accompanied the distribution of the 180 desks and school kits to the people of Santa Sofía, on the banks of the Amazonas River.
The activity, which was carried out in the indigenous people settlement, was accompanied by the officers and non-commissioned officers of the Military and Police institutions of the region, who carried out the distribution of those elements that will benefit children of the Indigenous School María Auxiliadora sede Antonio Nariño and sede Yaguas.
It should be noted that, for the distribution of the desks, which are made of recycled plastic by the Hewlett-Packard - HP company, the Executive Director of the Recupera Tu Silla foundation was at the event, who thanked the support provided by the Military Forces in the mission of bringing joy and well-being to the Amazonians.
Through this type of initiatives, the Colombian Air Force, through the Amazon Air Group (GAAMA), reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of the community, supporting initiatives that promote education and benefit the most vulnerable communities in this region of the country.
