These people had in their possession narcotic drugs that they apparently marketed in the municipality of Dibulla and surrounding sectors.
Troops of the National Army, in the Caribbean, made the arrest in flagrante delicto of three individuals, in Dibulla, La Guajira, who would belong to the Organized Gang (GDO) Los Pachencas. These people were apparently engaged in the micro-trafficking of narcotic drugs in the territory.
The operation carried out by the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Guajira in coordination with the SIJIN (JUDICIAL POLICE) of the Police, was made possible through a military intelligence work, which led to finding the whereabouts of these people. 276 kilograms of marijuana were found by troops at the scene.
The arrested and the material found were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office, who will continue with their respective prosecution process for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and carrying of narcotics.
The National Army will continue to carry out military operations, in order to counter the chain of drug trafficking and criminal operations of illegal groups that converge on the northern coast of Colombia. In the same way, troops will work for the security and tranquility of the inhabitants of the region.
