The military leadership is the ability to influence people, providing direction, purpose, and motivation to accomplish the mission and improve the organization, which result not only in the implementation of goals, but in the optimal professional development of men and women in the service of the country.
In the Department of Guaviare, under a high sense of human warmth, more than 40 civil - military cooperation activities have been led, including the realization of activities of cinema to the park, community workshops, and activities such as I love my neighborhood, sports events and cultural presentations. In the same way, more than 27 activities carried out such as environmental activities, peasant markets and advice on infrastructure projects, among others.
Leading troops in border crossings and rural, urban roads, among others, requires the exercise of creative and skillful authority through timely decisions; commanding is an art, and the Colombian soldiers have learned it well for over 200 years; his military leadership, working together, co-ordinated and inter-institutional with the civil authorities, results in the socio-economic development of the regions.
The National Army, with its schools of education and training, gives the guidelines to the officers and non-commissioned officers, who throughout the military career serve as commanders of squad, platoon, company, battalion, among other levels of control, acquiring skills for the management of resources and human talent, that will lead to the fulfillment of the mission of the Constitution, providing security and well-being to Colombians in all corners of the country.
Finally, the commander premise is to remain firm, despite daily circumstances, because the lives of compatriots and men and women wearing their camouflage are the priority, under the oath to defend the national flag and sovereignty.
