The coordinated work, the intelligence work and the commitment of the National Army, leads to continue contributing to the security of the city and its metropolitan area.
Troops of the National Army in coordination with the National Police and in an inter-institutional work with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, reported arresting two individuals of foreign nationality, responsible for carrying out several thefts in commercial establishments and restaurants in Bucaramanga, Santander.
These individuals would be involved in events that occurred in the middle of the previous year, in several sectors of the metropolitan area, mainly in the Head Office sector. Now, in the hands of the judicial authority, they will have to answer for the crime of qualified and aggravated theft.
After several months of investigation, the denunciation of the people and coordination with the other authorities of the capital city of Santander, it was established that these individuals would have participated in at least four acts of theft in several restaurants in the capital city of Santander.
The National Army invites people to continue trusting the Military Forces and to report in a timely manner the events that may alter law and order in the region, to continue working jointly, coordinated and interinstitutional, to strengthen the perception of security and to maintain the tranquility of the inhabitants.
