The Comprehensive operation section of the Amazon Air Group (GAAMA) carried out a new activity in favor of improving the safety of the inhabitants, carrying out loudspeakers missions and distribution of brochures in the Villa del Prado neighborhood of Leticia-Amazonas, and the surrounding communities to the Coronel Herbert Boy Air Base.
On this occasion, the activity was carried out with the distribution of brochures, inviting citizens to denounce any act of corruption or suspicious events, providing them with contact details to inform of any eventuality. It should be added that this strategy is another with the loudspeaker mission that the Air Force has carried out during the year in the south of the country.
In the same way, the loudspeaker of the campaign of the General Command of the Military Forces called Support to humane security was carried out, which aims to prevent violence and promote citizen coexistence, focusing on dialogue as a solution to problems in a peaceful way.
With these activities, the Institution reaffirms its commitment to the inhabitants of the capital city of the Amazonas region, reminding that the Colombian Aerospace Force is attacking in any situation, in order to provide confidence and security to the residents.
In this way, the Amazon Air Group will continue working day by day, carrying out loudspeaker activities, distributing brochures and broadcasting radio spots with the aim of mitigating acts of corruption, illegal mining and violence in the department of Amazonas, thus demonstrating the Institution's commitment to the safety of Colombians.
