As part of control and security operations conducted by the Colombian Navy, Colombian National Army and the National Police, a foreign individual was arrested transporting 7.8 kilograms of marijuana in Timbiquí - Cauca.
The result took place at a checkpoint in the urban area of the municipality, where troops identified an individual who was transporting a sack with eight packages of similar characteristics to narcotics.
National Police personnel conducted the Approved Preliminary Identification Test - PIPH, which left positive result for marijuana, weighing 7.8 kilograms.
The arrested individual and the material were put into custody of the local Prosecutor's Office of the municipality of Timbiquí - Cauca for prosecution, for the alleged crime of trafficking, manufacturing and/or carrying narcotics.
