Tired of fleeing from the military operations of the soldiers of the National Army in the departments of Tolima, Cauca and Huila, he arrived in the capital city of Tolima to voluntarily surrender to the troops of the Military Gaula Tolima, of the Sixth Brigade.
His surrender was made within the framework of prevention activities carried out by soldiers against extortion and kidnapping, where he took the opportunity to surrender to justice, and described his criminal activity within the limits of the departments of Cauca, Huila and Tolima.
Thus, in addition to delivering important information, he asked to be benefited with the national government's program to protect his family.
It should be recalled that this program is a legal mechanism that leads organized armed groups to dismantle in exchange for special criminal treatment that implies acceptance of responsibility for the crimes committed and comprehensive reparation to the victims.
In recent days, before the troops of the Sixth Brigade, in Tolima, three members of organized armed groups have decided to put aside their weapons and surrender to justice to live a life in legality.
We invite members of all groups that commit crimes in the area of operations of the sixth Brigade to surrender to the units and take advantage of the benefits of this program led by the Ministry of Defense.
