This man was part of the Iván Ríos structure, of the Second Marquetalia residual GAO that commits crimes in the departments of Nariño and Tolima.
With the sole purpose of living a peaceful life with his loved ones, the man decided to access the National Government's Surrender to Justice Program.
This individual, member of the Iván Ríos structure, of the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Segunda Marquetalia, voluntarily looked for the troops of Infantry Battalion No.18 Coronel Jaime Rooke, of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, thanks to coordinated work conducted by military intelligence and the Air Combat Command No.4.
The individual committed crimes mainly in the department of Nariño, under the command of alias Uriel, head of this structure of the Second Marquetalia, which the man joined in the village of Sabaleta, municipality of Llorente, Nariño, in the month of December 2021.
In January 2023, he decided to change the course of his life, when he was order to be a human mail, and now with the surrender to justice, he seeks to be get a job in order to live legally with his loved ones.
With this voluntary surrender, soldiers of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army impact the armed component of the GAO-r, and contribute to the tranquility of Colombians, building a homeland in defense of life.
