The garments for the exclusive use of the Military Forces and other elements were found by troops inside an illegal hideout.

To extract the materials, a previous review was made with the staff and the canine Blynky of the EXDE Team  (Explosives-Demolitions) of the military unit.

Troops of the Omega Joint Task Force, based on information provided by members of the Civic Participation Network, find a material of military accessories that the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, whose main criminal is the individual known by the alias Gentil Duarte, kept hidden inside an illegal hideout.

The military operation was carried out by soldiers of the Ground Operations Battalion No.7 in the municipality of Alto Caño Cafra, municipality of Vista Hermosa, department of Meta.

Ten covers for tents, seven olive green National Police uniforms, five green sweatshirt uniforms, four car tents, four ponchos, three multipurpose vests, an olive green cap, two pairs of combat boots, a pair of rubber boots and a first aid kit with different medicines, were the material found by the troops.

This illegal hiding place was presented to the Vista Hermosa Specialized Prosecutor's Office 16, for its respective prosecution process.

Joint Task Force Omega, with its three components (land, river and air), will continue in operation with the mission of dismantling all threats that harm our people, the State and its resources, as well as the invaluable heritage of our biodiversity and the environment.
