This individual was carrying out criminal operations, such as the collection of money from extortion against of the productive and commercial sector of Guayabal, and apparently coordinated murders in nearby villages.
After military intelligence work, troops of the High Mountain Battalion No. 9, of the Ninth Brigade, in a work conducted with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, arrested two individuals, including alias Dubán, who under the direction of alias Marlon Cárdenas, head of finance of the Iván Díaz Front Substructure, in Guayabal, in San Vicente del Caguán, Caquetá, would be the one who carried out the different coordination to collect extortions and carry out murders in the hamlets Miravalles, Los Andes, Las Morras, La Abeja, La Libertad, Rovira, Chorreras, La Paz, La Campana and Puerto Amor.
The arrest of these individuals occurs since the troops of the Ninth Brigade conducted a checkpoint in Balsillas, where a van in which they were traveling was intercepted, and they brought 2 9 mm pistols, a magazine, military accessories material, 3 cell phones and information of the organization of the Bolivarian and Popular militias, such as the management of masses to confront the policies of the State, hidden in boxes. Similarly, approximately 16 million pesos were found by troops in a bag.
It should be mentioned that alias Dubán would be one of the trusted men of alias Jhoanny Hernández, ringleader of the Iván Díaz Front of the Jorge Suárez Briceño Bloc, in this area of the department of Caquetá.
The material found and the arrested individuals were brought to the judicial authority and will have to answer for the crime of manufacturing, carrying and trafficking firearms.
