In a joint and coordinated operation conducted by the National Army, the Colombian Air Force, the Colombian Navy and the National Police, it was possible to find a dredger-type raft for the illicit extraction of mining sites in the Sapuara sector.

With this operation it is possible to hit and weaken the financial muscle of the illicit finances of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Acacio Medina Structure, which hits the natural resources and environment in the department of Guain铆a.

In addition, it is possible to find a mining production unit, an extraction engine, two meters of eight-inch tube, 15 meters of six-inch hose, among other elements, thus maintaining the fight against this problem that causes irreparable damage to the environment, pollution of important water sources and impact on the natural and strategic resources of the nation.

In this way, it is possible to establish territorial control over the In铆rida river sector and to continue with the campaign against the phenomenon of instability of the illicit extraction of mining deposits in the different rivers and tributaries of the department of Guain铆a.
