The works were carried out in the framework of a tripartite agreement conducted by the National Institute of Highways, the Mayor's Office of La Montañita and the National Army.
Caquetá. The Battalion of Engineers No. 12 'General Liborio Mejía' of the Twelfth brigade of the National Army in execution of the strategic axis Cooperation and Development plan 'Victoria Plus', as well as of the 'Faith in Colombia - Pasión Caquetá' initiative, gave to the community two playgrounds and a bus stop in the village of Itaca and in the village Santuario of the municipality of La Montañita.
The works that began last June 2 in the frame of a tripartite agreement conducted by the National Highway Institute, the Municipal Administration and the National Army, are part of the project Works with Community Participation and seek to benefit a thousand inhabitants of the northern region of the department of Caquetá.
These two parks and the bus stop will contribute to improve relations of the neighbors for coexistence. Mobility will be the object of complementary works for the Improvement, of Social and Environmental Management projects in the Marginal de la Selva road on the section Florencia-Puerto Rico in the North of the department in the frame of the project Roads for Equity.
