Military Engineers of the XIII Brigade adapt secondary roads in Ibagué, Tolima

The military unit made the designs, sent the personnel and made the coordination with the community to implement a strategic plan to improve tertiary roads.

 

Tolima. On this occasion, the soldiers of the Engineers Battalion No. 13 General Antonio Baraya, of the Thirteenth Brigade of the National Army, in a joint work with the secretary of Infrastructure of the municipal government, executed the plan of works for the improvement and adaptation of roads with concrete material, in the neighborhoods Ambala and San Sebastián, in the urban area of Ibagué, in the department of Tolima.

 

As well as this other road recovery projects in the capital Tolmense, which will led the recovery of public spaces in different sectors of the city, with the speech of a group of more than 70 military units, the joint support of the local administrative sector and the community.

 

During this year the Military Engineers Battalion and the municipal administration hope to consolidate 60 more tertiary road recovery projects. The mayor of Ibagué Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo, highlighted the importance of the effective work of the National Army in this type of projects, which benefit the citizens of the most vulnerable sectors of the capital of the department of Tolima.
