Military forces accompany security work during the protests

At the Unified Command post established by all regional authorities, the National Army, the Colombian Navy and the Colombian Air Force in the same way strengthen follow-up efforts in the Caribbean region.

 

At the Atlantico Capital city in the facilities of the departmental police, members of the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Colombian Navy and the National Police are carrying out monitoring on different demonstrations that occur in municipalities throughout the Colombian Caribbean to ensure tranquility during these activities.

 

For these tasks the Air Combat Command No.3 has carried out air accompaniment of the Unit's helicopters, especially at night to assist the work carried out by the Surface Forces, ensuring that the curfew established by The Governor of the department of Atlantico is complied. It has in the same way supported the transport of members of the police to increase the number of units accompanying Colombians who exercise their right to demonstrate peacefully.

 

At the moment, the community of the Caribbean region has carried out its movements in tranquility, being an example of civility and respect for the inhabitants who take shelter at home; in the same way the Colombian Air Force will continue to guard the security of the marches from the national airspace.
