In the frontal fight against the residual organized armed groups, GAO-r, and sources of financing, drug trafficking, a joint and coordinated operation was carried out conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the National Police, which achieved the finding of approximately 1,600 kilograms of marijuana, in the Amazonas region.
This operation was carried out in the municipality of La Pedrera, Amazonas, where an illegal hideout with numerous plastic packages was found, where the narcotic was wrapped, allegedly destined for the countries of Peru and Brazil.
The Amazonas Air Group (GAAMA), transported the material in The Caravan-208 aircraft from La Pedrera to Leticia to give it to the authorities for the judicial process.
