Military forces and prosecutor capture ringleader of residual Group Structure 30

In a joint and inter-institutional operation in Guapi, Cauca, alias Rambo was captured. He is said to be ringleader of an urban group of the residual organized armed group, GAO-r, E-30 Rafael Aguilera, which had been carrying out illegal activities in the urban center of this municipality of Cauca.

 

The 46-year-old man had an arrest warrant for the crime of association to commit aggravated crimes along with forced displacement and disappearances.

 

The events took place in the Puerto Cali neighborhood where troops of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.42 attached to the Navy Infantry Brigade No.2 of the Pacific Naval Force, troops of the Anti-Drug Trafficking Battalion No. 2 of the National Army and officials of the Attorney General's Office arrived to conduct the operation.

 

With this capture, the military forces and the Office of the Attorney General of the nation deal a major blow to this residual organized armed group that commits crimes in the Pacific region of the department of Cauca.
