The 16-year-olds were put into custody of the authorities for the restoration of their rights.
Within the framework of joint and coordinated military operations, troops of the High Mountain Battalion No. 6 Major Robinson Daniel Ruiz of the Second Brigade of the First Division of Colombian National Army, with the support of the Colombian Aerospace Force, engaged a combat against members of the residual organized armed group Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra Nevada, also known as Los Pachenca.
The result of the military operation, carried out in the village of Cher煤a, municipality of Ci茅naga, department of Magdalena, reported the arrest of seven individuals allegedly members of this illegal group, as well as the recovery of two minors.
In addition, military accessories and communications equipment was seized at the site, as well as 403 cartridges of different calibers, three cell phones, a machinegun magazine, an improvised explosive device and a rudimentary grenade.
All this material, and those arrested, was put into custody of the judicial authority for the relevant legal purposes.
During the operation, the criminals launched a drone attack on the troop, resulting in a slightly injured Soldier by shrapnel, who was assisted in a timely manner and is out of danger.
