Search operations and control river carried out by units of the Navy of Colombia in conjunction with the National Army, led to the arrest in flagrante delicto alias El Flaco, alleged ringleader of a group of the residual Organised Armed Group Farc, Structure 6, mobile column, Jaime Martinez, in the time that he was traveling with another individual in a boat transporting war material in a rural area of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.
At a river checkpoint led by troops of Navy Brigade No.2 with support of the Anti-Drug Battalion No.2 of the National Army, in the sector of Bocas de Punta Ají, basin of the Naya River, the boat named El Nuevo Rey was intercepted, where the individual alias El Flaco, accused by the Attorney General of the Nation of being the mastermind of the murder of an Officer and three navy men of the Colombian Navy, in events that occurred on March 17, 2019, in the Raposo river, rural area of the District of Buenaventura, was identified.
During the searches of the boat were found by troops 194 cartridges of different calibers, which would be used in long-range weapons.
Alias El flaco, along with the guy he was traveling with, were arrested and put into custody ofthe authorities.
