Valle. The Colombian Air Force through the Military Health of the Military School of Aviation (EMAVI) and the Directorate of Health of the Army through the Medical Dispensary of Cali, carry out from March 5 to 9 the first surgical days of 2018 in the surgery rooms of EMAVI in the city of Cali.
The activity counted on surgeries and surgical procedures of first and second level in the specialties of General Surgery, Urology and Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology; giving fulfillment to the surgical needs of the users and their beneficiaries of the Subsystem of Health of the Military Forces in the south-western region of the country.
During this joint work it was possible to make 104 procedures for 62 patients from the three Forces.
The efforts and coordination of assistance and logistics led to the successful development of this activity, which aims to provide timely care, reduce costs in the external network, as well as improve the opportunity in surgical procedures and meet one of the strategic objectives of the Subsystem of Health of the Military Forces.
