Este año este Grupo Armado Organizado, GAO, ha recibido 76 afectaciones por parte de las Fuerzas Militares.
En el desarrollo de la Campaña Militar y Policial Esparta, tropas del Ejército Nacional de manera conjunta con la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana, coordinada con la Policía Nacional e interinstitucional con la Fiscalía General de la Nación, sostuvo un contacto armado en área rural del municipio Bucarasica, Norte de Santander, donde fueron capturados tres integrantes del Grupo Armado Organizado, GAO, Pelusos, dos más muertos en desarrollo de operaciones militares entre los que se encuentra alias Brayan, segundo cabecilla de esta estructura criminal.
En la operación militar se incautaron cinco fusiles, cinco armas cortas, municiones de diferentes calibres, abundante material de comunicaciones e intendencia, útiles para la inteligencia militar.
En lo corrido del año, este Grupo Armado Organizado, dedicado al terrorismo, al narcotráfico, al secuestro y la extorsión ha recibido 76 afectaciones por las operaciones adelantadas contra su accionar delictivo.
La Fuerza Pública y el Gobierno Nacional ratifican su compromiso en la lucha frontal contra todos los grupos armados organizados que se alimentan del narcotráfico y que impiden esa paz con legalidad para Norte de Santander.

In 2021 this structure has received 76 heavy operations by the Military Forces
In the Military and Police Campaign Esparta, troops of the National Army jointly with the Colombian Air Force, coordinated with the National Police and inter agency with the office of the Prosecutor General of the Nation, engaged firefight in a rural area of the municipality Bucarasica, Norte de Santander, where three members of Organised Armed Group, GAO, Pelusos, were arrested, two other died in military operations, including alias Brayan, second ringleader of this criminal structure.
During the military operation, five rifles, five handguns, ammunition of different calibers, abundant communications material and military accessories were found by troops, useful for military intelligence.
So far this year, this organized armed group, committed to terrorism, drug trafficking, kidnapping and extortion, has suffered 76 losses as a result of operations carried out against its criminal activities.
The Military Forces and the National Government reaffirm their commitment in the frontal fight against all the organized armed groups that feed on drug trafficking and that counter peace in legality in Norte de Santander.
