This hydrochloride megalaboratory counted on logistics capacity of eight wooden structures, where the different production processes were carried out. It would belong to the Armando Ríos Structure, of the GAO-r Bloc Amazonas Manuel Marulanda Vélez.
During a coordinated and joint operation of the Omega Task Force of Colombian National Army, the Colombian Navy, the Colombian Aerospace Force and the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the National Police, framed in the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, it was possible to find a cocaine hydrochloride laboratory in the Morichera village, of the municipality of El Retorno, in the department of Guaviare.
Several units of equipment and machinery were found by troops in the place, including a distillation tower, a boiler, 12 microwave ovens, a washing machine, an industrial power generator, a compressor, 3 precision scales, 2 electric pumps, an industrial stove, a cooler, 2 vacuum packers, 2 cylinders, a rudimentary dryer, a hydraulic press, 14 big barrels, 58 barrels, a filtration table, a packaging table, a drying table and more than 400 bags, among other elements.
In the same way, in liquid and solid precursors, more than 650 gallons of petroleum, 120 gallons of hydrochloric acid, about 2720 gallons of acetone, 50 gallons of ammonia, 50 kilos of activated carbon, 50 kilos of ammonium chloride and 125 kilos of sodium hydroxide were destroyed.
The megalaboratory, used for the production of cocaine hydrochloride, counted on a logistics capacity in 10 wooden structures, where approximately 1,000 kilograms of this substance were produced per month, with an estimated price of more than 24,000 million pesos.
The dismantling of this laboratory represents a significant blow to the illicit activities of the Armando Ríos Structure, of the GAO-r Bloc Amazonas Manuel Marulanda Vélez, neutralizing its expansion capacity in the department of Guaviare.
