This year more than seven tons of explosives have been found in the departments of Meta, Caquetá and Guaviare. Apparently, these explosives were intended to carry out more than 2,000 terrorist attacks.

The Joint Task Force Omega  in a military area control operation, finds and subsequently destroys three tons of explosivos in Los Andes village, municipality of Puerto Concordia, Meta.

The operation that was conducted thanks to military intelligence, led to the arrival of the units of the Eastern Specific Command to the place, who after a technical and careful operation in the area, guaranteed the entry of the Police Criminal Investigation Group, who conduct the respective judicial procedure and continue with technicians specialized in explosives and demolitions of the National Army the destruction of these explosives.

In the same way, troops found four improvised explosive devices, ready to be planted in the area.

This material presumably has a lethal range of more than 300 meters around and would belong to the residual Organized Armed Group Seventh Structure, Gao.
