Two explosive devices were found by troops and the canine UMA of the staff of explosives and demolitions, Exde group, product of its adequate training for the search for these dangerous substances.
This same puppy, approximately 15 days ago found a cylindrical container of 40 kilos conditioned with explosive material, managing to save the lives of 36 soldiers.
This year, the troops of this unit of the Colombian military forces have found 608 explosive devices; in 2020 troops found 651.
In the course of military operations, troops of the Omega Joint Task Force found two anti-personnel mines, planted by members of the Fernando D铆az group of the residual organized armed group, Gao-r. Article 142 of Act No. 599 of 2000 criminalizes the use of unlawful means and methods of warfare. Its use in the same way violates the third Common Article of the four Geneva Conventions.
