The residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Tenth Structure, would be hiding in the midst of civilians, long-range war material.
In order to neutralize the terrorist intentions against civilians that the members of the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 10, want to carry out, the National Army in a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional military operation with the Colombian Navy, Air Force, Police and the Prosecutor's Office, with support of the civic participation network, find an illegal hideout with abundant war material in the neighborhood Fundadores Bajo, in the municipality of Arauca, Arauca.
At that place, military units, together with police officers, by search warrant, found an illegal hideout containing nine rifles of different calibre, 46 rifle magazines, more than 1,500 rounds of ammunition for all weapons and three 40-mm grenades. In addition, 20 pamphlets and a dry seal alluding to Farc dissidents were found by troops, with which they would be extorting and carrying out criminal operations against the merchants of the municipality.
It should be noted that the National Army will denounce again these groups of criminals who use civilian houses in the heart of the urban area to store war material without any security measures in order to beat military troops in violation of International Humanitarian Law.
This is how the Military Forces weaken this criminal structure of drug trafficking which generate terror in the inhabitants of this department. The material was put into custody of the authorities.
