Military Forces hit the production of about 7.5 tons of cocaine hydrochloride

This blow represents a loss of more than 252 million dollars for Outlaw organizations.

 

Thanks to the control exercised by the National Army, the Colombian Navy, the Air Force and the National Police as part of the efforts in the frontal fight against drug trafficking, it was possible to find and destroy 47 laboratories, as well as to find 688,575 coca plants, 25,826 kilograms of solid precursors and 22,838 gallons of liquid precursors during the last month.

 

In the same way, troops found 171.5 kilograms of coca base, 2,741 gallons of coca base paste in process, 655 gallons of coca leaf in process and 2,558 kilograms of coca leaf. In addition, industrial leaf grinders, presses, motor pumps, industrial stoves, among other tools used for the production of narcotic drugs were found; 13 individuals were caught in flagrance.

 

The heavy results was possible in development of land, maritime, river and air operations in the departments of Valle del Cauca, Cauca, Nariño, Bolívar, Cesar, Putumayo, among others, managing to hit the production of nearly 7.5 tons of cocaine hydrochloride, which represents a loss of more than 252 million dollars for the residual Organized Armed Groups, GAO-r, Sinaloa, Heroes del Jaree, James Prías Alape, Contadores, Oliver Sinisterra and Raposos.
