Thanks to the follow-up being carried out on transnational organized crime in the Caribbean, Colombian Air Force crews and two Colombian Navy Rapid Reaction Units were alerted on the work of an irregular speedboat in the Gulf of Urabá, where it was intercepted thanks to its exact location, obtained by the aerial tracking platform guided the RRUs of the Caribbean Naval Force.

At the time of the interception, eight sacks, three rectangular packages, six bullets and four men were found aboard the speedboat, which were given to the authorities. The boat, together with the cargo, were taken to Turbo - Sucre, where the preliminary test was carried out and confirmed positive result for 195 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride.

These joint efforts conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the Colombian Navy will continue to be carried out, to dismantle transnational organized crime that hit the security of the Caribbean region, with this illicit activity which destabilizes development in these areas of the country.
