In the course of a joint and coordinated operation, in the department of Norte de Santander, the Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the National Police, found and destroyed two laboratories for the production of cocaine hydrochloride belonging to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 33.

This operation took place in the municipality of La Primavera, municipality of Tib煤, Norte de Santander, directly damaging these organized armed groups that attack the natural resources of Colombians.

As a result of this operation, 433 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 452 kilograms of coca base paste were found by troops, as well as abundant material of chemical precursors and elements that were used for the elaboration and production of the narcotic.

This operation led to an economic loss of $4,553,494,250 COP, reducing the income of these Organized Armed Groups from illicit activities.

The Military Forces will continue to work hard to reduce the structures of drug trafficking, always guaranteeing the security of Colombians and the environment.
