These blows prevented approximately $ 60 million dollars from entering the residual Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes in this region of the country.
In different operations carried out in the Nari帽o Pacific by units of the Colombian Navy in conjunction with the National Army, 14 illegal structures used for the production of coca base paste and cocaine hydrochloride were found by troops and their threat neutralized.
In recent days, the operational deployment of the River Combat Groups of the Navy Brigade No.4, in the Mexicano, Rosario, Chag眉铆 and Mira rivers, in the rural area of Tumaco - Nari帽o, the finding of 13 laboratories and a cocaine laboratory that had the capacity to process more than 12 tons of coca base paste and 1.5 tons of cocaine hydrochloride monthly took place.
Inside troops found more than 700 kilograms of coca leaf in process, more than 4,300 gallons of liquid precursors and two tons of solid precursors, including chemicals highly polluting to the environment, which are dumped indiscriminately on the ground and in rivers during the process of preparation of the drug.
During the course of these simultaneous operations it was possible to arrest two persons in flagrante delicto and to recover two minors, who were put into custody of the authorities and institutions.
The 14 drug trafficking structures were destroyed in controlled conditions by Colombian Navy explosives specialists.
