Heeding the call of the community, members of the Military Forces of the Joint Task Force Titan provided first aid to the minor, in the village of Noanamá, municipality of intermediate San Juan in the department of Chocó, who was injured, due to handling an explosive device that was left on the banks of the San Juan River, allegedly by the organized armed group Eln.
The boy was playing in the tributary, when he found on the bank, an object that exploded when he picked it up, causing serious injuries to his face and right hand, in addition to shrapnel in the chest, abdomen and limbs.
