Military Forces provide medical care to more than 1,500 people in Puerto Valdivia

Inhabitants of the municipality of Puerto Valdivia improve their quality of life, this time, they received free medical assistance, thanks to the work of the Colombian Air Force, the Army and the National Police together with the Government of Antioquia and the Mayor's Office of Valdivia.

 

On board a Black Hawk helicopter of Air Combat Command No.5, the specialists arrived to provide medical care to more than 1,500 girls, boys, youth, adults and older adults, who had the opportunity to consult in pediatrics, nutrition, gynecology, optometry, dentistry, general medicine and gerontology, among others.

 

In the same way, during this activity, activities of recreation, social work, donation distribution were carried out, in addition to vaccination and sterilization of domestic animals, where the Official Professionals of the Reserve, the Santiago Milagro de Vida Foundation participated, with the distribution of Ecocunas, teaching them to parents how to give their children a safe sleep and disease prevention.

 

In the same way to this laudable mission were joined by Empresas Públicas de Medellín, EPM, the Southern Command of the United States and several volunteers, who contribute significantly in   the country.
